Situada no sopé da Serra de Sintra, a nossa Quinta é um excelente ponto de partida para visitar esta vila, Património Mundial da UNESCO. Podem efectuar passeios diários pela zona ou deslocarem-se a Lisboa (comboio direto), Cascais (20 minutos de automóvel) ou então ir até à costa com as suas bonitas praias vigiadas ou selvagens.
A nossa Quinta é uma típica casa de campo com um grande jardim, árvores de fruto, ervas aromáticas e flores. Junto da piscina encontra-se um solário em calçada portuguesa. Podem, igualmente, fazer umas boas refeições no exterior (grande mesa em granito maciço e churrasqueira).
Poderão também ler um bom livro na nossa sala com lareira ou divertirem-se com jogos de tabuleiro.
E todas as manhãs será servido um bom pequeno almoço com produtos frescos, tradicionais e locais. Irão saborear pão e queijo da região, sumo de laranja natural (laranjas algarvias, ou da nossa quinta), assim como compotas caseiras. À noite teremos todo o prazer de vos apresentar a nossa selecção de vinhos assim como outros produtos regionais e nacionais.
Quartos
As crianças com menos de 10 anos de idade não são admitidas na Quinta, uma vez que esta não está preparada para elas. Agradecemos a vossa compreensão.

Se procura actividades ao ar livre, nós organizamos saídas em BTT (enduro, XC ou até DH), escalada em falésia (granito ou calcário), aulas de surf e caminhadas (com guia). Tudo para todos os níveis. Quer desligar-se para se ligar a si mesmo? Então junte-se às aulas da Patricia, professora com diploma de Kundalini e Yin Yoga ou desfrute de uma massagem sem sair da Quinta. Poderá igualmente efectuar uma formação em fotografia (todos os níveis) através de workshops dirigidos por Ricardo, fotógrafo profissional e professor de fotografia.

Fantastically sweet host family who welcomed us with open arms in beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely relaxing stay. We had breakfast served in their beautiful garden with freshly squeezed juice, delicious fruit and various pastries. The pool area was clean and beautiful, and the pool itself was large and well-maintained. The place is close to Sintra and Lisbon, as well as beautiful coastal areas, and the hosts are nice to give tips and recommendations. Highly recommended.❤️

Had a nice stay with Patricia and Ricardo.
* Room: We had the family room, which is convenient for a family with children, with 2 separate bedrooms. The rooms were spacious and tidy and were made up daily. Very clean. The family room had one bathroom. The bathroom was okay but quite basic. The shower head was not ideal and the water was sometimes hot/cold.
No air conditioning in the room, but usually not a problem because the night cools down. We did have to sleep with the windows open. The mosquito netting was fine, though. We did wake up at night a few times from the garden sprinklers starting up. There was no fridge in the room, so we went out to eat.
* Breakfast: Was made and served with a lot of love by the owners. It was good, not overly extensive, but tasty.
* Location: Quiet and not far from Sintra. Also great for going to Lisbon.
* Beautiful garden with a large swimming pool. Very quiet. The pool was a bit green for one day due to insufficient chlorine, but this was quickly resolved. This could have been prevented, but it wasn't a big deal.
* Owners: Very pleasant people. Ricardo sometimes walks around with a parrot on his shoulder and has a kind of funny sense of humor. (He said it was closed for renovation when we rang the doorbell). We were also allowed to watch the World Cup football match together! We were also able to make use of the laundry service.
You can also go to them with all kinds of questions.
* One of the highlights for me was the information we received before arrival via their info app.

The resort is fantastic, with comfortable rooms, well-maintained gardens, and an elegant pool. Enjoying a full breakfast on the porch is priceless, and the tranquility is truly exceptional. The hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive. As a base, the location is excellent for exploring beaches, dining at good restaurants, or visiting the palaces of Sintra.

Très bel endroit superbement situé au calme, à proximité de la mer et des palais.
Les propriétaires sont charmants et offrent un excellent petit déjeuner que l'on peut même prendre dehors au bord de la très grande piscine. Les chambres sont confortables et joliment décorées.
Petit plus : la quinta possède un vrai studio de yoga dans lequel il est possible de suivre des cours.

This Quinta is beautiful, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. I took two yoga classes with Patricia during my stay. A relaxing yin yoga class and a healing energetic kundalini class. The pool and grounds are beautiful and I took Patricia’s recommendation for a close by restaurant. Wonderful food and view of the castle! I had a change of travel plans and this was the perfect place to relax between destinations. Patricia is a wonderful host! As a female solo traveler I felt very safe!

What a beautiful place, so close to Sintra! Easily accessible and delightfully hidden away. We enjoyed the hospitality and (dark) humor of our host Ricardo and the excellent care from Patricia. The garden is truly a lovely place to chill with a good glass of local wine and a good book. Thanks to Ricardo's advice, we mainly visited sights in Sintra using Uber, and that was indeed the best way to get around. No hassle with parking and everything quickly and cheaply accessible.

The owner was very friendly and has high hospitality mindset. This place is cozy atmosphere in the countryside. Feels like I was visiting my family vacation home. The breakfast was nice and nit. It is not an inderstrial fancy looking hotel, but if you want a family atmosphere, this is the place for you. My only concern is the sink in the bathroom in my room did not have hot water running. Otherwise it was 10 out of 10 experience.

I just checked out from this place and the only mistake is not staying longer :). The owners created a really unique place that really feels like coming home. I spoke to them many times through my stay and the breakfast is lovely - fresh orange juice made by them right before serving as well as bread and other goodies from the village. You’ll be outside the busy city that’s filled with day only travelers. I recommend at least 3 nights to fully explore Sintra. There are at least 5 Palaces to explore just for starters ! Don’t second guess - just book ✨.

We greatly enjoyed our three night stay here near Sintra with host Ricardo providing an excellent breakfast and lots of advice about places to go and things to do in several languages. There's a nice pool and the guest lounge and breakfast rooms are a pleasure to use. It's a quiet place with no traffic or TV though the local dogs can be heard at night. There are restaurants nearby and several beaches a 15 minute drive away.

We were warmly welcomed by Patricia and Ricardo. A beautiful and excellent stay as a base for southwest Portugal. The breakfast was very well prepared and at the agreed time. Even though our trip took place outside the normal season, it was very worthwhile. Received many useful tips from the owners, especially for local restaurants. And that turned out to be worth its weight in gold because it took us to addresses that you would normally walk past. Good, fresh, local surprising food that we would come back for. Thank you very much for your good care and hopefully see you soon! Recommended!

And that turned out to be worth its weight in gold because it took us to addresses that you would normally walk past. Good, fresh, local surprising food that we would come back for. Feeling welcome in Quinta Do Pé Descalço in Sintra
Warm welcome by Patricia, the lady of the house. The big traditional house is beautifully renovated and decorated with nice robust, modern-classic and 70-ties elements. Very tastefull, plenty of space and nice and clean. There are hotelrooms, but my sister and I, we choose the only appartment ‘Monserrate’. It felt like home, practical and with more than enough space and facilities. A rental car (also excellent service by Guérin/Sunny Cars) takes you to a variety of places within 30 kms:: the very green natural region offers enormous trees, several once royal palaces with botanical gardens (our favourite Parque Monserrate), fantastic beaches (our favourite Praia Magoito), villages and surfing paradises and the colourfull cultural city of Lisbonne. The owners of the house take care of their guests with personal tips for restaurants, visits not to be missed in Lisbon, an option to do a yoga session or a photography lesson and several other nice tips (like the parking in Lisbonne). Breakfast is served at a long wooden table with the other guests, which gives a nice ambiance. It is a real treat to start the day with fresh excellent bread from the local bakery, every day another sweet surprise, the best orange juice and, thanks to the Spanish roots of the owner, manchego cheese with delicious membrillo (quinces paste/kweepeer pasta). The swimming pool is pretty and clean and surrounded by a lawn and orange and olive trees. And those oranges are in your glass at breakfast! Lovely adress.

Warm welcome by Patricia, the lady of the house. The big traditional house is beautifully renovated and decorated with nice robust, modern-classic and 70-ties elements. Very tastefull, plenty of space and nice and clean. There are hotelrooms, but my sister and I, we choose the only appartment ‘Monserrate’. It felt like home, practical and with more than enough space and facilities. A rental car (also excellent service by Guérin/Sunny Cars) takes you to a variety of places within 30 kms:: the very green natural region offers enormous trees, several once royal palaces with botanical gardens (our favourite Parque Monserrate), fantastic beaches (our favourite Praia Magoito), villages and surfing paradises and the colourfull cultural city of Lisbonne. The owners of the house take care of their guests with personal tips for restaurants, visits not to be missed in Lisbon, an option to do a yoga session or a photography lesson and several other nice tips (like the parking in Lisbonne). Breakfast is served at a long wooden table with the other guests, which gives a nice ambiance. It is a real treat to start the day with fresh excellent bread from the local bakery, every day another sweet surprise, the best orange juice and, thanks to the Spanish roots of the owner, manchego cheese with delicious membrillo (quinces paste/kweepeer pasta). The swimming pool is pretty and clean and surrounded by a lawn and orange and olive trees. And those oranges are in your glass at breakfast! Lovely adress.

This Quinta is heaven! Patricia and Ricardo are wonderful hosts who were very welcoming and caring. We stayed 3 nights in the family room and enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The Quinta is perfectly located to serve as base for day trips. Uber works great in Sintra so we left our car at the Quinta and booked an Uber for every trip (to the castles, train station or restaurants). And after every trip we were so happy to be able to return to this quiet and peaceful hideaway. The Quinta itself is beautifully decorated, the rooms are cozy and the garden & pool are perfect to relax. Patricia and Ricardo prepared a delicious breakfast every morning and helped with great recommendations for our trips. Thanks a lot for a great time and we will definitely come back!

Estoy de vacaciones con mi familia, hemos elegido Sintra y este hospedaje que nos ha parecido maravilloso nada más entrar por la puerta. Un matrimonio de portugués española lo llevan juntos desde hace poco tiempo pero con un encanto espectacular. Tiene rincones maravillosos que me recuerdan a las novelas de cuentos para niños, mi hijo se lo está pasando fenomenal corriendo por toda la finca. Lástima que no acompaña el tiempo para bañarse en la piscina sin embargo podemos tomar el sol tranquilamente después del desayuno que nos preparan tan amablemente. ¡Saludos!

We spent some days at the Quinta and it was a wonderful stay. Patricia and Ricardo are amazing hosts and are doing a great job taking care of this B&B. The breakfast was wonderful, with a nice mix of fruits, jams, fresh bread, granola and delicious cheese 🙂 the house, garden + swimming pool are also very beautiful, a perfect stay to relax and also to visit a lot of things in the area. We stayed here for a week in june 2019 and simply loved the place. The house and surroundings were beautiful and the daily breakfast was nice. The owners, Ricardo and Patricia, also gave us some amazing restaurant tips, and other advise to do activities in the nearby area. Ricardo and I also shared a passion of cars, so we had some nice talks during the week! We'll definitely come back some day 🙂

This property is simply paradise on Earth. The place is spotlessly clean and tidy, so peaceful and very charming. Bed linen and towels were nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was quiet and delicious facing the garden. As you walked in, they greet you with a large glass of freshly squeezed orange juice which makes your day. They nicely offered a wide range of healthy options along with the time for you to have them at their lovely breakfast room. They never rush you off. We stayed at their charming one bedroom house which was amazingly well equipped; it has everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Patricia, the owner, is perhaps the most helpful host we ever have and we often travel and stay in this sort of properties. I would highly recommend this quinta.

Hemos pasado 2 semanas en agosto, disfrutando del entorno excepcional y de la casa y jardines, muy bien acondicionados, decorados, y cómodos. Habitaciones muy amplias y con gran armario, baños bonitos, amplios y con espacios para las cosas. El jardín y la piscina, inmejorables. Además el microclima de la zona hace la estancia muy agradable.
Especialmente recomendable si un grupo grande ocupa toda la casa, ya que entonces la barbacoa y las zonas comunes son aún mejores, si es posible mejorar. Los anfitriones, muy amables y atentos. Lo hemos recomendado a nuestros amigos y volveremos.

Es una finca espectacular situada en un parque natural, un entorno inmejorable dónde se respira un aire limpio y se disfruta de un silencio increíble.
Dispone de varias viviendas decoradas con mucho gusto, amplias habitaciones, con colchones supercomodos, todo muy limpio y cuidado al detalle.
Tiene un jardín muy agradable con piscina y barbacoa, tumbonas...
Y muy cerca de este remanso de paz está Sintra y playas espectaculares.
